Clonmel Commercials Notes - 10th October

Clonmel Commercials Notes – 10th Oct

All roads lead to Semple Stadium on Sunday as we face Killenaule in the County Final at 3:30. All support appreciated as always as we chase title no 17.

Our Ladies have qualified for the Munster semi final after a stunning 6-16 to 2-17 victory over Ballyduff on Friday last. Sarah Ryan amassed an amazing 6-4 but she was ably assisted in the forwards by Ava Fennessey while at the other end of the field Betty Barlow was superb at full back. Limerick champions Ballylanders are up next for the girls. Keep an eye on social media for fixture confirmation.

St Marys

All at Commercials would like to congratulate St Mary's on winning the Co Championship on Sunday last v Gortnahoe. An amazing achievement for such a young group of men and it'll be great to have a Senior Hurling club back in the town for 2018!

Juvenile Boys

Our U14 team battled Ardfinnan on Wed last  in the Peil competition & came out victorious.  Well done boys.

A great blitz was held by our U9's on Friday evening - a packed evening in the Poppyfield as we entertained teams from Clerihan, The Nire, Ardfinnan & Moyle Rvrs.

Under 11's were unlucky against Ballylooby on Sunday morning - but showed great displays of football & character.

Our U13's enjoyed a day out in Adare, Co. Limerick at the Munster Blitz.  Very unlucky to be beaten in the semi final by a single point - they represented our club like proper gentlemen, many thanks to all involved.

Finally, fun & games were had at the Behind the Ball presentation in Supervalu this week also - a huge benefit to our club - thanks to Adele in Supervalu for working with us on this.
